The production of technical textiles and nonwovens takes center stage at the 15th edition of Techtextil North America. From May 22 to 24, 2018, German specialist SCHWING Technologies will present thermal cleaning solutions for spin packs and spinnerets contaminated with polymer residues.
At the booth of Measured Solutions, Mark A. Reese will explain the potential benefits of the German technology leader’s Cleaning Shops. Their fully automated, energy efficient and environmentally-friendly VACUCLEAN vacuum pyrolysis system can be equipped with an optional ultrasonic system and guarantees zero residue cleaning results.
The system is easy to install and reliably and gently removes polymer residues from tools. These include spin packs or spinnerets and melt-blown or spunbond dies with lengths of up to six meters. Manufacturers in the technical textile and nonwoven fabrics industry benefit from reduced machine downtimes and extended service life of the cleaned spinnerets.
